Thank you Michael for taking the time to answer these interview questions

Introduction:
Hello! My name is Michael, I’m 38 from SoCal. I have been using Skout/MeetMe for one and a half years. I started out using the dating feature, then learned about Live streaming, and became a viewer. I viewed streams for several months networking, gifting, and getting to know the community. I was encouraged by many to start Live streaming, and thus started my journey April 25, 2019. My stream is an arena of positivity, and open forum for all to come chat, engage, enjoy dancing, games, projected visuals, movies, & music videos. I often take song requests, and sing songs or lip sync. Good sense of humor is a must, because sarcasm is encouraged. Thank you for taking the time to check out my interview!

What are some of the challenges and accomplishments that you have had as a streamer?

At first I faced the challenge of coming up with content, but then I remembered that I know how to dance, which came from my days of going to clubs and raves. Those days are over, but I can still use that talent of course. Many have came into my stream and told me: “I’ve heard good things about you. I came to see what you were all about, and they were right.” Hearing that is very encouraging and shows me that impact is being made and positivity is being spread, which has been my objective.

You are a VIP for MeetMe, what is it like being a VIP member, and what kind of benefits do you get out of being one?

The best thing about being a VIP is bringing smiles and joy to people’s life. Giving is better than receiving, and it blesses me to see joy in action. The benefits of being a vip are larger coin packages, early gift release visibility and usage I believe I represent the app being a highly visible member, and in that many look to me for other ways to help besides diamonds!

What is your favorite part about streaming, have you met alot of people in real life?
My favorite thing about streaming is interacting with others. Getting to know them, making people laugh, smile, and being a point of contact for technical and life issues. I like to help people, what else can I say! During VidCon week, July 10-13 2019, I met and hungout with a lot of top streamers, VIP’s and MeetMe staff, it was a great time, because everyone was so awesome! Spending time with people you’re so used to only seeing on a screen was so surreal. I look forward to meeting and hanging out with them again!

What kind of entertainment do you provide as a streamer foryour viewers?

Dancing, games, positive vibes, neutral arena to provide support socially, spiritually, emotionally.

Other than MeetMe, do you stream on any other platforms, andwhy? No, starting all over would take lots of time, and I have been grinding for top streamer for a while. If I went to another platform it would be difficult to juggle.

When you are not streaming, What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy the beach, hanging out with friends, movies, go-karts, miniature golf, batting cages, bowling, and theme parks.

What are some tips that you might give to upcoming streamers that want to become a VIP or a TOP badge?

Consider your skills, talents, and abilities. What can you use to entertain or benefit others? Providing engaging content will keep viewers coming back. As for VIP, it will of course take some money, but it also requires a good heart and patience. Some may take kindness for weakness, so just be aware of who is real and who is not. A lot of DM’s may come, with just hi’s to initiate a conversation or people may straight up ask for help. Either way get used to it and not let it affect you, and or lock your DM’s down to friends only. Both Top’s, and VIP’s are important in the community, they are highly visible, both are encouraged to keep smiling, and positively influence others.

Thank you Robin for taking the time to answer these questions for Streamingworld Magazine. I hope that people outside the social media/media platform you normally stream on get to know you better. Please fill these out with detail the best you can and respond to them via E-Mail.

Who are you Robin Shelby, why do you have such a large fan following?

I am an actress who has been extremely fortunate and so very lucky to have people supporting what I do. I have been lucky to get to have quite a few Ghostbusters fans become not only supporters and followers of my work, but friends as well.

We know you as “Slimer” From Ghost Busters movies. How did you end up with the role, and what other roles have you done besides Ghost Busters?

I had worked on the film Willow prior to getting cast in GB2. I was the troll that was at the top of a bridge with Willow and gets torn in two by a very nasty looking two-headed creature. I also was doing tons of theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area, and singing at Kings Great America when I shot Ghostbusters 2. Here is a link your fans can go to so they can check out all of my work. www.Imdb.me/robinshelby!

5
How difficult was it to play the role of slimmer?

It was probably the most fun, and the most difficult thing I’ve worked on. I’d absolutely do it again.

What made you get into the role of acting? Is it easy to memorize lines? Or is being an actor difficult to achieve?

I got into acting around age 11 at a Children’s Musical Theatre company in Northern California. I was immediately bitten by the acting bug. Memorizing lines for me can be easy or difficult. It all depends on if the way it’s written and if it’s close to the way you may speak. Being an actor is difficult and you will deal with more rejection than getting the job. You have to love it to keep going.

Do you have any special projects you are working on now? Is there anything new that we should keep our eye out for?

I shot an amazing project called “Sins Unveiled” which I’m very excited about. We’re also still producing out Web Series called “2 Cops and a Car” which my husband Sean Spence created and wrote, and we are both producing and starring in it.

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do for fun?

I have a dog that we love spending time with. I also enjoy cooking and baking. My husband is a huge collector of Starbucks gift cards, and we both treat it like a scavenger hunt in finding them. J

Have you worked with different actors/actresses before? If so how was that experience for you, what were the negative sides and the positive sides?

Yes, and it can be intimidating at first if you have respected their work for some time. You quickly learn you are all in the same boat trying to get a good outcome together and the “fangirl” in me goes away and the actress in me takes over.

Who has been an influence on your life, and why?

Personally, my Dad has had a huge influence on me in not giving up, and appreciating the little victories and each person who has helped you along the way. A huge influence on me as a little girl was watching many re-runs of “The Carol Burnett Show”. She was and is simply amazing.

Where do you see yourself 10 years from now with acting? What about outside of acting?

I hope I’m able to continue to be a working actress 10 years from now. I’d love to continue to improve on my cooking and make things that scare me now with ease.

Do you have any tips for new inspiring actors or older actors who are struggling?

Network with other actors, keep your eyes on the prize and if it’s something you truly want…don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve it.

Who is Brady, and what are your beliefs? What do you stand for?

Brady is a character for sure. I’m a ball of energy, but some don’t know the side of me that’s sentimental. I’m a family guy. They come first. My blood, and then my family that I have built with my close friends. I stand for love, and for acceptance. I want everyone to be treated equally. No matter their background. PERIOD.

What does Brady like to do for fun outside the app, what are your hobbies?

I love attending concerts, attending sporting events, and sometimes a little paint ball tournament. I love being around my family. 1 year ago the world welcomed my niece, and from then on, my goal was to be in her life every day I could.

You used to be a top badge on the site, would you like to explain what happened, and your side of the story?

Yes, I was a top badge. I guess to sum it all up I made a mistake. A mistake that caused me to lose friends, and that also resulted in me reaching out to the MeetMe team and having them remove my badge.

You are a very funny person, and your streams are hilarious. What is your main focus of your streams? Does your Stream have a theme?

Well after my incident on MeetMe, I took a break. 6 months off the app. My focus then and now remain the same... To give people a platform, a different world, to enter and forget their personal lives for just a second. I want to make people laugh, to feel good. It’s what I was put on earth to do. I also read tarot. So what I can say for now is. my theme now is to help people with guidance, if asked.

Have you met anyone outside of the app? How was the experience like in doing so?

I haven’t had the pleasure to meet anyone. But here soon I hope to meet a lot of my peeps!

What is the difference in experience being a top badge versus not being a top badge?

Woah, So being a top badge was literally everything! I spent LONG days and nights busting my ass and sweating for my peeps. When I got my badge, I got the opportunity to show case my talents and my thoughts with a wider crowd. My message was clear: JUST BE YOURSELF! Now that I don’t have my badge, it’s the same. To me, badge or not, I have a chance to be a difference. Forget my mistakes for just a minute, and realize I want to change lives (literally and figuratively).

Do you have any tips for new streamers or streamers that are struggling?

Tip 1) Be your(fucking)self. Authenticity is key to being a top badge and earning it!
Tip 2) Dont take shit personal. “Unless they are paying your bills, pay them bitches no mind”- RuPaul
Tip 3) Be willing to think bigger than your own thoughts and beliefs. We all have different opinions so be accepting of those who think differently than you. Love them.

Is there anything else I might have missed in this interview that you would like to mention?

Oh yes, you already know I do..

We are coming up on an important election that’s going to define the future for us and our next generations. We need to be cautious! Study up. Fact check. And vote. USE YOUR RIGHT and get out and vote! We’re in some dark times and we can’t give up. And one last thing, if you feel alone, if you feel like you don’t belong or maybe you are going through some dark times just know there are people who love you. ️You are loved and you are accepted!

Xoxo,
Brady

Thank you once again for doing this for me. I hope that you find this interview useful and that your viewers get to know you a lot better.

How did you get your name EMC Jet?

Well, when I first joined the app and for a while I was just Jett. Up until maybe 6 months into when I proposed myself to do well and knew Jett would not cut it so I wanted something extra to go with Jett...I kept thinking about my image and what sort of streamer I wanted to be and when I had the idea of the headphones and hoodie I knew that I'd have that emcee look. Thus EmC was added tho it's supposed to be pronounced emcee people just called me E.M.C Jett sounding each letter as apposed to emcee which kinda stuck and so now I'm known as E.M.C JeTT.

What was the purpose of downloading the app, and what did you expect out of it?

Downloading the app came at a specific down point of my life, and became something to socialise with while being at the comfort of my own home. In saying that, having worked as a chef for years and working along side alot of tourists has got me addicted to learning new cultures and traditions and languages. So far MeetMe has been fullfilling that craving. Meeting some awesome people from all over the globe, and look forward to meeting more.

When did you start streaming? What was the feeling of obtaining your first million like?

I started streaming in Feb 2018, coming up to 2 years streaming now and still love it. It has its moments but still love it in the worse of moments. Actually I got my badge before I got my Milli. Back when I obtained the badge it was 200k diamonds as the requirement. Not long after that they changed it to a mil and so I had to get 600k being at 400k at the time to make sure I could keep the badge and so when I got that milli it was a great feeling for many reasons..a milestone reached...got to keep the badge as well as being a part of the 200k badge club is awesome! Makes me old, but I'll take it! Was good for those in my stream who worked hard for me to get that Milli also and could see as it meant allot to them. Just imagine what it did for me. Its never been about the diamonds anywhere near as much as it being about the people you connect with, and would do alot for you. So getting the Milli was great don't get me wrong, but what was better than that was the even bigger connection I had with the family as we got that milli together.

What kind of hobbies do you like to do? What do you do in your spare time outside of the app?

The simple question that says so much about a person!!! I love these questions!!! I'm a massive sports guy. Love sports and playing sports.. Love watching motorsports too. I have such a passion and respect for motorsports and being involved in some motorsport programs. I'm a muso so you might find be busting out a few classical tunes in the guitar or banging out on the drumset waking up the neighbours family is key to me aswell so being with them is one of my fav pastimes. Other than that just relaxing and listening to tunes, going out to fancy dinners, or some beers (coronas) has my name on it.

You are in Australia, have you ever considered visting other places to meet streamers?

Abso-freakin-loutely!!!! America has always been tugging at my heart and everyone of my viewers hear it all the time with allot of rolling eyes emojis and shuttup comments has always been a dream to go to America and visit so many of the people that I have only known through a small square glass. But also being someone who is a culture seeker and a lover of historical places with so much history and evidence I would just love to travel in general to anywhere and everywhere.

Have you met anyone off the app before? How was that like, what was the negative and positive outcome of it?

I have met a few people of the stream fortunately...not long ago a few viewers of mine organised a trip for my birthday and a meet up and can't get it out if my mind. Phenomenal to meet people in real life and hang out with them seeing the differences and things you don't see behind a screen. I've met top badge Katie and we had a blast. She's an awesome streamer but even better in person. The positives are definately just getting to know them better as people outside a virtual streamers life so to speak. I don't see many negative things other than the fact that they now know my secret habits  you can't hide in real person 

Do you have any tips for streamers that are struggling to get to their million, or new streamers that might find it a bit difficult to get used to?

Ah yes! Always remember who you are as a person and that's who you are as a streamer. People get confused and struggle and try and get upset and that's because they lose the most valuable principle about streaming. It's intended to be enjoyed. Enjoy your streams and try new things and the rest will come naturally. I generally have strategies for those who really want to get that Milli or the badge which always works but the most important thing to remember is to never stray from who you are a person, and to always always always enjoy what you are doing with the people staying away from as much nonsense, children style, playground drama that people seem to be all about.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years on Meet Me, and where do you see yourself in real life in 10 years?

In 10 years, I absolutely still see myself on MeetMe doing even better with the same people coming onboard and new segments and content. MeetMe for me has always been long term for me. I love it that much and picks me up in the darkest of times. In my life I currently have a business that is really producing so in 10 years I will be in America, in Cali with my own expensive house in San Diego just chilling with all my viewers having their own keys to my house enjoying a corona with me beside my $20k pool in our bathers

Is there anything else I might have missed that you would like to let your viewers know?

My people know me well. They know the type of guy I am and I allow each one live out my life with me . I suppose they need to know that every one of my successes on the app is their successes. Every jubilant moment is their excitement and every down moment is all our chance to help each other realise that MeetMe is not all about a personality or someone's look but people's heart and how smart they are and caring!!!! At least in my stream we are all there to prove it.

Thank you Claus Laresen for taking the time to answer the questions. I hope that this will help people who have never heard of you or your music get to know you a little bit better! Please fill the answers underneath the questions and send back some pictures that you would like to be on the banner of Streaming World.

First off, thank you for doing this interview for me. How long have you been composing music for, and what kind of music do you classify yourself as?

CL: You are very welcome. I wrote my first song when I was 14 years old, back in 1982. A Synth-Pop snog titled "Dreaming". It was a life changing moment for me and from that day I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I finally found an outlet for my emotions, and to this day, song writing is my therapy. It's something I need to stay sane. I don't really like to be put in a box with my music. But if you have to I guess it can be classified as Electro Industrial ort EBM. I'm all over the place genre wise.

How many projects are you involved with, and is there anything new coming out in the near future?

CL: Leæther Strip, Klutæ (Klute), Am Tierpark, The Stricken, Die Klute and Mirland/Larsen. We just released a new Am Tierpark album totled "Kinds Of Failure", which is my Synth-pop band. Next release from me will be a new Klutæ album, it will be out early next year, after that I will release a new Leæther Strip album, which I just need to pick sings for. I have 51 to pick from so it will be hard to pick 10. I dont have a title for that just yet.

1aelogo

What bands have influenced you to create the music that you do, what are some of your favorite bands?

CL: I was influenced a lot by 70's glam rock and Punk growing up. bands like The Sweet. The Slade Glitterband and The Skids and Sex Pistols Also early New wave had a big impact on me Like Gary Numan, Ultravox and Simple Minds. But my favorite bands are Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Yazoo, The Human League, and Fad Gadget.

You are played at a lot of industrial/goth clubs, what is some of the memorable songs that you can think of that you have heard your songs at the clubs?

CL: It's a bit strange for me to be in a club while I'm being played, so that's really not my favorite thing. I guess the most played songs in clubs are Strap Me Down and Adrenalin Rush as the classics. But as we don't have any clubs near us that plays my songs I don't really know.

What side projects are you involved in, and are there any future side projects that you will be part of in the future?

CL: Am Tierpark, The Stricken, Die Klute and Mirland/Larsen. I wouldnt really call them "side projects" as they are just as important for me as Leæther Strip and Klutæ- I also enjoy doing guest appearances in other bands and I remix a lot for others. I might join one more band as a vocalist but I cant tell you about that now, we are not certain yet on how and when we will do it.

When you perform at concerts, what is your experience like, what motivates you to continue to perform live?

CL: It's one big adrenalin fest for me. I love to perform my songs and I feel very lucky that I am able to play for people all over the world. Up there I'm 21 again and I can go for hours. Best feeling ever!

What is the most favorite venue that you have ever played at?

CL: Thats hard to answer. But I must say that I enjoy smaller venues where I can almost taste the audience. That's where I feel the most. I'm an old punk so I guess that's why. I'm not into doing theatrical shows with costumes and fake blood, it's just me up there 100% as it also is with my songs. All me.

What instruments do you play?

CL: I play Keyboards, drums and bass guitar. All self taught.

Do you have any tips for new musicians that might be struggling with learning whatever they are learning?
CL: Never do what you think others want you to do. Do what you have to do, and work your ass off. Make the music for you first. If you put your heart and soul into it someone out there will like what you do. It's about creating something you can be proud of, and you have no control over anyone's taste anyway.

Is there anything else you would like to mention in closing?

I just want to thank everyone who follows and support my music. Come to my shows, you'll have a blast!
