Hello Mad Viking! Thank you for taking the time for this interview.
Can you tell us who you are and a little about yourself?
Well my given name is Shane. I am a 40 year old child. I, like Peter Pan, choose never to grow up! I am an Industrial Skilled Trades Electrician Specialized In Robotics. I teach an Rslogix5000 class at a local college. I have a 9 year old Autistic Son. His name is Phoenix. and I just enjoy living life and all the suprises that come with it!
What platforms do you like to stream on? What do you like and dislike about streaming? What would you change if you could?
So currently, I am streaming on MeetMe and Tagged. Eventually I would like to start my own Youtube channel, but thats a little ways off yet. I can't say there are too many dislikes about streaming other than maybe the censorship. Certain platforms don't let you talk about or do certain things. Streaming is a way to express yourself and it's always hard when another entity limits the ways you can express yourself. I guess that is the only thing I would change as well. Some of the great comedians of the world wouldn't be as popular if they were to put limits on how or what they could say or do.
What are some of your interests and hobbies? What do you like to do when you aren't entertaining the world with your streams? What inspires you?
Some of my hobbies include writing, singing... things like that. I like to travel a lot. I've been to most of the States, alot of Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and a few places in Europe. I don't have a ton of time to focus and work on Hobbies because I do work alot. Most of my inspiration just comes from life and the experiences that you get from living it!
I heard you do readings with the Elder Futhark Runes. How did you get into using them? And what inspired you to use them for others?
Nothing really gets you into them but just being generally interested in them. They were used widely by the vikings and everything viking interests me. I started learning about them when I was a young teen and just continued to mess with them throughout the years. I dont read for other people very often, but when I do it's because the person is interested in the practice of rune reading.
Tell us, what does the future hold for you? And for your upcoming streams?
That's the beautiful part about the future. You never know what it holds. I hope to get more viking stuff to do my lives with so its more authentic looking. I just hope to bring more fun and excitement to my streams and meet more new and interesting people.
Now lastly, how did you choose your name? And, Who is the Mad Viking?
Who am I? Odin is my father! I was molded by the Hammer of Thor, Mjölnir. My body was complete. Freya whispered into my ear and breathed life into the sculpted body that is mine. Who am I you ask? I am Viking!! And, I looked kind of like a viking anyways, and I love everything to do with Vikings, so it was only natural to pick the name I have!

My goals in life… Well that’s a toughie. With my anxiety, my brain likes to look on the dark side of things instead of the bright side. I do have a few goals in mind. Eventually, I would like to go to Cosmetology school. I would like to be able to support myself instead of having to rely on family. I would like to be able to go through life without the constant fear and sadness that my anxiety and depression brings. Where would I like to go and visit? Hmmm... There's so many. I would love to go to Disneyland and Disneyworld, I want go to Paris, and see the Eiffel Tower. I want go to the Bahamas and see the gorgeous beaches and tropical islands. I wanna go to Hawaii and visit a volcano. There's so much beauty in this world to go and see.
What are your goals on Meet Me? What or who has influenced you to start streaming?
My goals on Meetme include reaching 1 milli, hitting my 5,000 faves and eventually getting my top badge. I would like to show other people that you don’t have to have much to get to top badge status.That you can start with nothing and become something in this app. I would like to see Unstoppable Idol become the only show people want to see every week. I want to make it a prosperous business. But I also want to see the contestants succeed as a result of being on Unstoppable Idol. The people who have influenced me to start streaming is a loooong list. Jear Fox, Auntie Knits, Kinky Type, Tha Idol, Hashi, Misha, Aaron, Top Vadge, the list goes on and on lol. They helped to realize it’s not as scary as it seems. They helped me gain confidence in myself to be able to stream. I honestly, wouldn’t be here today on the app streaming at all if it weren’t for them.
Have you streamed on any other platform other than Meet Me, if so which platform is your favorite to stream on?
Nope, MeetMe is now and will probably forever be my home for streaming.
You help with the Unstoppable Idol and everyone appreciates what you do for the show. How has your experience been working on the show and tell us what your roll is with the show? What has been your favorite part of the show,? I am also going to put you on the spot. Who has been your favorite or who are your favorite contestants on the show so far?
I am the secretary. I do a lot of the behind the scenes stuff. Marquis sends the emails of the applications to me and I organize them into a roster sheet, I also send emails to the contestants giving them information about their season and informing them I will add them to snapchat for the group chats required for each season. I do a lot of one on one with future contestants. Mainly answering any questions they might have. I love working on the show. It has had its stressful moments, but all in all it has been a blast and such an amazing experience for me. My favorite part so far has had to be watching all the new contestants progress and grow in their talents and grow as competitors as the seasons go on. Oh my favorties… Really put me on the spot here. I have just so many right now. Logan B, VapeGod, Top Vadge, Mia, Mojo, Hippie,Jear Fox, so many more. But those are probably my absolute tops.
Where do you see yourself in the future of your life? Where do you want to be in 10 years?
In 10 years, I’d hope to have found the love of my life and be settled down with kids of my own. I would like to have achieved my dream of being a cosmetologist.
Is there anything else that you would like to mention to your viewers and potential new viewers?
Just be yourself. I appreciate everything you as viewers do for my stream. I am humbled by the experiences and opportunities I have been blessed to have and experience. I hope to be blessed by so many more. I love each and every one of my viewers that have gotten me here so far and I will continue to love you and all the others to follow who will be there to help me achieve and reach my goals here on the MeetMe app. You all are absolutely amazing and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for each and every one of you amazing people. Who is Ayy Bae Bae? What makes you who you are? And when did you start streaming?
I am almost 27. For the time being, I am technically unemploye. I am a stay at home caretaker for my mom. Her social security is the only income we get. She is also a big part of the reason I am who I am. She taught me values and morals and the importance of being a good person and being true to your friends. She taught me that to be treated the way you want to be, you should also treat others the same way. My smartalic personality comes from my dad. He's probably the biggest sweetest asshole you will ever meet. I came to meetme probably 8-9 months ago but I only recently started streaming for the last 2-3 months. I deal with anxiety and depression which makes life in general very difficult to deal with on a day to day basis. But my friends on MeetMe make my days better and show me life's not as bad as it seems. They are the reason I go live. They are the reason I am still on this app.
What are some of your hobbies? What do you like to do for fun?
I like to game, mostly on PC. My favorites are World of Warcraft, and Diablo 3. I also am a BIG Zelda fan. Aside from that, I dabble in a little bit of archery. I love going to the movies and hanging out with friends, but as you can imagine with my anxiety that doesn't happen much.

My bestie and I were alone in a sauna, or so we thought, when all the sudden a lady comes in all flirty, and the disapeared. My bestie said, What just happened? Did I just get turned on?? She coined the term "ninja hoe". We also consider the singer Bjork to be a ninja hoe. I go by "❥nínjα➛" now. No one took me seriously so I shot the "hσє".
Has streaming been a tough experience for you? Has it been a struggle to gain views?
I know for me it is hard to get the views. Im very new to streaming, and was not aware of all the etiquette and functions. Such as how some streamers "fav for fav", what "diamonds" were for, managing "bouncers", kicking" ”hackers", i knew nothing about joining."cliques, and families". I just wanted to meet people I could coincide with. I owe my start to a streamer named ᎪᏌᏚᎢᏆN#ᵀʰᵉᴵⁿᶠᵃᵐᵒᵘˢ he found me on my first stream and got me drunk. He is the best for introducing me to The Deadpool Show on MeetMe, and I've been part of #X-Force ever since.

I enjoy playing video games, playing card games, cosplay, karaoke, shooting pool, 420 and I love animals.

I am a financial fem-dom that dresses as a ninja. I goof around with my viewers, and it can get totally random sometimes. I mostly stream to meet locals, I wasnt aware you can make money doing this.

I deleted my first account due to a relationship I was in and did a bad thing and said I would quit streaming so I deleted MeetMe accounts and then we broke up so I got lonely and redownloaded it.

I like to hang out with my friends and jetski or Netflix and chill . If I’m not streaming I’m at work or school.

Where did you get the Misfit part of your name from, I know there is many speculations on where it might have come from, let’s put it to rest now?!
I got Misfit from The Island Of Misfit Toys. I used to say that my livestream was the Island of Misfit Toys. It used to be Scissor Squad but i fucking hate the word "squad". Originally I was gonna make it IOMT just for Island of Misfit Toys but i chose to just shorten it. Is there really speculation on where it came from?
Tell us about yourself, what kind of music do you like to listen to what kind of movies do you like to watch, how many piercings and tattoos do you have?
I have an eclectic music taste and generally like and appreciate all genres. I tend to gravitate to harder music like metal, hard rock and punk. I have seven piercings and wont tell you where theyre all at haha. As far as tattoos go, if you can count the number of tattoos you have then you sont have enough. I have a lot scatterd around but im working on getting my arm covered. My left arm is a Halloween sleeve and my right arm is all evil cupcakes. :)
How long have you been streaming for, what was your first stream like, and what did you expect from it?
I just had my on year streaming anniversary in July. I honestly dont remember my stream. When i first started streaming i used to watch movies on stream. Then i realized my room was too busy to do that. The movie would be over and wouldnt know a thing that happened in it. My streams have always been real ppl y busu. I did have any expectations, Im disabled so i thought it would be a good way to get social interaction.
What do you do for your streams, what kind of themes do you have, do you play games?
My themes are: Sunday night i dress like a nun and take confessions in the box. I tell people how to be redeemed for their sins. I give the person with the best sin a prize. Monday night is Adult Mad Lib Night, i do most of it with my Alexa. Her reading it outloud is too funny.. I have another streamer named Christi come in the box at points and sing some song choruses. She leaves blanks and we fill them in with adult words. Tuesday night is game night. Wednesday is Meet Me Scavenger Hunt. Thursday Night is Dirty Hangman. Fright night is Art Ni
ght, i paint very detailed art on my face and i had other artists come in my box to show off their work. Saturay night I do Sex Triva. During the day i like to play fucked up cards especially in random battles.
Do you stream on any other platform besides Meet Me?
I dont stream on any other platform. Ive tried others out, i just didnt like them.
What kind of benefits does having a top badge help you with your streaming venture? Do you think that you would get where you are today without the badge?
I love having my badge. I dont think its necessarily essential to be successful on the app. I honestly dont know where id be at this point, i got mine after two months of streaming. Without it i couldve done better, the say or worse. Ive only experienced the way ive lives it so its hard to speculate.
What kind of benefits have streaming helped you achieve, and where do you see yourself in the future for your streams?
Im disabled. I went out of work two months before ive started streaming. One of the benefits its giving me is being able to pay bills. Another benefit is that ive met some truely amazing people that in closer with then my own family. In the future i just see my streaming. Badge or no badge, it doesnt matter. Im gonna continue doing content that makes me happy.
Do you have any tips for new streamers that are struggling to make it that might want to give up?
My tips to new streamers would be:
1) dont sleep on stream. People dont like going to someones room and they're sleeping, they might not come back, most wont.
2) Write yourself a list of things to talk about and set it by your phone. if it gets slow, you can just casually look down and fill air time. Sometimes when youre already talking it doesn't feel awkward to people just coming in to your stream
3) Get yourself fantastic bouncers! Ones that will hold the hearts, send out blast and help get you higher in trending.
4) Be yourself and make your own rules! I wrote names on stuff when I first started streaming, but I haaaaaate doing it. I've made 95% of my diamonds without doing it. I'm not hating on anyone that does it, if it works for you, Do it to it. I felt corny and awkward doing it, which i feel like people can sense.

Where did you get the Misfit part of your name from, I know there is many speculations on where it might have come from, let’s put it to rest now?!
I got Misfit from The Island Of Misfit Toys. I used to say that my livestream was the Island of Misfit Toys. It used to be Scissor Squad but i fucking hate the word "squad". Originally I was gonna make it IOMT just for Island of Misfit Toys but i chose to just shorten it. Is there really speculation on where it came from?
Tell us about yourself, what kind of music do you like to listen to what kind of movies do you like to watch, how many piercings and tattoos do you have?
I have an eclectic music taste and generally like and appreciate all genres. I tend to gravitate to harder music like metal, hard rock and punk. I have seven piercings and wont tell you where theyre all at haha. As far as tattoos go, if you can count the number of tattoos you have then you sont have enough. I have a lot scatterd around but im working on getting my arm covered. My left arm is a Halloween sleeve and my right arm is all evil cupcakes. :)
How long have you been streaming for, what was your first stream like, and what did you expect from it?
I just had my on year streaming anniversary in July. I honestly dont remember my stream. When i first started streaming i used to watch movies on stream. Then i realized my room was too busy to do that. The movie would be over and wouldnt know a thing that happened in it. My streams have always been real ppl y busu. I did have any expectations, Im disabled so i thought it would be a good way to get social interaction.
What do you do for your streams, what kind of themes do you have, do you play games?
My themes are: Sunday night i dress like a nun and take confessions in the box. I tell people how to be redeemed for their sins. I give the person with the best sin a prize. Monday night is Adult Mad Lib Night, i do most of it with my Alexa. Her reading it outloud is too funny.. I have another streamer named Christi come in the box at points and sing some song choruses. She leaves blanks and we fill them in with adult words. Tuesday night is game night. Wednesday is Meet Me Scavenger Hunt. Thursday Night is Dirty Hangman. Fright night is Art Ni
ght, i paint very detailed art on my face and i had other artists come in my box to show off their work. Saturay night I do Sex Triva. During the day i like to play fucked up cards especially in random battles.
Do you stream on any other platform besides Meet Me?
I dont stream on any other platform. Ive tried others out, i just didnt like them.
What kind of benefits does having a top badge help you with your streaming venture? Do you think that you would get where you are today without the badge?
I love having my badge. I dont think its necessarily essential to be successful on the app. I honestly dont know where id be at this point, i got mine after two months of streaming. Without it i couldve done better, the say or worse. Ive only experienced the way ive lives it so its hard to speculate.
What kind of benefits have streaming helped you achieve, and where do you see yourself in the future for your streams?
Im disabled. I went out of work two months before ive started streaming. One of the benefits its giving me is being able to pay bills. Another benefit is that ive met some truely amazing people that in closer with then my own family. In the future i just see my streaming. Badge or no badge, it doesnt matter. Im gonna continue doing content that makes me happy.
Do you have any tips for new streamers that are struggling to make it that might want to give up?
My tips to new streamers would be:
1) dont sleep on stream. People dont like going to someones room and they're sleeping, they might not come back, most wont.
2) Write yourself a list of things to talk about and set it by your phone. if it gets slow, you can just casually look down and fill air time. Sometimes when youre already talking it doesn't feel awkward to people just coming in to your stream
3) Get yourself fantastic bouncers! Ones that will hold the hearts, send out blast and help get you higher in trending.
4) Be yourself and make your own rules! I wrote names on stuff when I first started streaming, but I haaaaaate doing it. I've made 95% of my diamonds without doing it. I'm not hating on anyone that does it, if it works for you, Do it to it. I felt corny and awkward doing it, which i feel like people can sense.
