Hi, Jay! These are some of the answers to your questions. And good to always get communication from you I always love hearing from you.

Who is Mark Thompson, and what does he do for a living?

Mark Thompson is a broadcaster and political commentator with interests in the environment. Interests extend into science and the arts. Mark Thompson is a part of the daily slate of shows on KGO radio in San Francisco, which is a huge talk radio station. When I say huge, I mean the signal is really dominant across much of Northern Central California. From Bakersfield all the way up into southern Oregon!

It's quite an impressive platform. And we talked about all kinds of things on that show. We talk about politics, Bay Area issues, California issues, national and international issues. We have some fun on that show. We, I would say try to keep things light at times, but also get into some pretty heavy stuff as well from time to time.

Since I'm Mark Thompson, I can continue to answer this question about what Mark Thompson does for a living. Mark Thompson is also a voiceover performer. I've done a lot of shows. Everything from American Idol to the Billboard Music Awards to campaigns for the Ford Motor Company, Payday candy bars, every sort of commercial sort imaginable.

I also do a podcast called, "The Edge with Mark Thompson." That is a broad show, and I say broad meaning it takes in a lot of different subject matter and generally the conversations are real longer, a little more in depth, and so that show is available where podcasts are heard on iTunes and you know, Apple platforms, but also on Stitcher, and also on the web at edge-show.com.

Who was your favorite interview, and why?

That's a really great question. I don't know that I have a good answer. I love talking to people in areas I don't know a lot about so sometimes that's kind of I love old Hollywood stuff, or old entertainment stuff. We talked to for example, Elliott Gould, about that world of film acting, We talked about the world of old times film, and stage acting with an actor named Norman Lloyd. He's 102 years old this year, I think, right at the time, I think it was just, it was just 100 was on or 99. But he had great old stories. It just brings to life a time that you know, you don't have a window on in any other way.

But maybe to read about it, and this guy was actually there. So I found that interesting. But then on the other side of things, I find some of the scientists we've have it on just sort of talked in depth about the state of the planet. I found that I had a really interesting conversation about artificial intelligence with somebody who works with the IBM Watson team. So, I love always having comics on, friends on, and what can I say, I enjoy the breath of guests that we have on that show. For one of those for just that reason. I mean, that's one of the reasons I like the most, is that it It does bring in such a varied group of people in such varied topics.

What other projects have you worked on? What kind of projects do you have coming up in the future?

Well, I was very active in the early days of reality TV, in the 90s. I helped bring forward a couple of big shows. And this is a little trivia, I was the first one to pitch the bachelor with Mike Fleiss as my partner at the time. We pitched it at a dinner at the palm restaurant in West Hollywood. And Mike, it was Mike's idea. We just finished doing a show called who wants to marry a multi millionaire and the bachelor was really burst and created out of that show.

But anyway, it was a mic Remember him? You know, bang on the side of my thigh go and pitch it. And we did. We pitchd the bathroom? Of course, it's a long running show. So I was doing a lot more in that space, then.

What was what were some what's what do I have coming up in the future? I don't know. I hope, all kinds of things. I have no idea what they'll be. But let's hope they're good things. Let's just hope there is a future.

What was some of the best accomplishments that you achieve?

What are some of the best I cannot mention huge, you know, I'm very proud of you know, all the different things I've done being able to work with top producers as a voiceover artist, that's exciting to be able to have made a difference in the area of animal rights and also the awareness of what's going on with factory farming and treatment of animals across the world.

SeaWorld and with the oceans and the I think the threat that man has, I would say not only man represents but that man actually is seeing good on that is to say, unabated it would seem man is destroying the earth, and I think to whatever extent I've raised that into conversation occasionally. I'm proud of that.

What are some of your hobbies that you like to do when you're not working?

Well, I enjoy playing poker, as Jay will tell you, because I saw Jay a couple of times in various poker rooms. I do enjoy that. I also like to say, I wish I could tell you I like I enjoy competitive tennis and skydiving. No, I like I like hanging out. I enjoy the movies. I like reading. I don't know. I'm kind of a lazy slug. I guess that way.

Anything else you would like to mention in closing?

No. Jay, I thank you for your patience and waiting for these responses. I wish you the best and I always think good things of you and I hope your life continues to have good things ahead as well. So my best to your listeners and your readers and I wish everybody a safe, happy and healthy future.

You are a puppeteer, When and why did you start doing the puppet act in your life?

I first started playing with the puppets as a joke in my own live stream. Basically I was just messing with the people who came in to try and get them talking or give some sort of a response. Then, one day, a fellow streamer told me while I was messing around in her “box” on her live, that I should make an account and just do the puppets without me included. Suffice it to say the puppet was far more popular with people than I was.

What are your puppets names and their personalities?

Well, each of the puppets is kind of like little aspects of my personality. The main two puppets I use are Walter Vickers and Pat Peckinpaw. Walter is an old man who is balding, white headed and with a mustache. He’s basically a dirty old foul mouthed pervert, but, he’s a caring loving contradiction too. Pat is a flamboyantly gay bird of paradise. He is kind of innocent in a way because he likes toys; he loves techno and is the first puppet people see when they come into The Playhouse. There’s Twinkle, he’s a blue furry monster from Abilene Texas that loves Japanese culture. Hans Ben Dober is a blonde haired blue eyed German teenager from Schwetzingen that is the somewhat emo boyfriend of Pat. Chef Ram-She has a dark mustache, chef whites, and hails from Donegal Ireland. The third most loved character is Satan, he loves to torment people with pop music and talk trash.

What do you like to do for fun outside of the app and what are your hobbies?

Outside of the app I usually am working, playing video games on my phone, reading, and watching movies or doing other stuff with my girlfriend. I do have other hobbies though I don’t usually do for lack of time, fishing, tattooing, gardening, drawing, knitting, honestly, if we went over all the useless skills I have or hobbies we’d run out of space.

What are your puppets names, and how did you come up with the names, Does the puppets cost a lot of money?

Walter Vickers, Pat Peckinpaw, Twinkle, Hans Ben Dober, Chef Ram-She, and Satan are all the names of the puppets. The name Walter Vickers was a pseudonym I picked up over the years, Hans’ name was a contest I did for a fan to name him. Twinkle I came up with using a name generator for monsters. Pat’s first name was picked because he’s so colorful I wanted him to be gay and have a somewhat androgynous name, his last name was a contest. Chef Ram-She got his name as suggested by my friend Katye. Obviously Satan’s name was easy to come up with. All of the puppets have either been funded through my GoFundMe, or through fan donations. The average cost is around $70 or so for puppet and a puppet stand.

You go live on Meet Me, do you stream on any other platforms other than Meet Me, if so which Platforms?

I do rarely go live on a few other platforms. Instagram, YouTube, Tango, UpLive, LiveMe, Periscope, and TikTok, are the main ones. All are under the Pat’s Playhouse name.

How hard is it to perform the puppets, and how do you come up with the acts of the puppets, do you follow a script or do you just perform on the fly?
The puppet shows can be grueling, especially particularly long live streams. It’s difficult to do one continuous live for three hours or more just sitting in one position while doing the puppets. I’ve had to start doing light weight training for my arms as physical therapy once I noticed pains starting to occur in my dominant puppet arm.

Do you like any other Puppeteers outside of Meet Me, or inside of Meet Me?

There is one particular puppeteer/ventriloquist I came across on Chaturbate of all places. She’s really funny and raunchy with a puppet and he is anatomically correct which is just hilarious to me. You can find her on Twitter @AlizeZaide. There have been other puppeteers on Meetme, but they haven’t been around as long as me or stayed as long either. A guy using a Chucky doll named Andy is the only other person I’ve seen in a while on MeetMe doing what we do.

You try to make people laugh and make them feel better, why is it important for you to see a smile on viewers faces?

I like to get people smiling because of philosophical reasons. Mainly, life is short, enjoy everything good and bad, because it’s over fast and as long as you just keep that smile going, you can impact the world somehow. A silly thought, but, frowning takes too much effort using more muscles and I think smiling all the time has kept me look as preserved as I do.

Would you ever consider getting your top badge, and why would it be beneficial to you?

Getting a top badge would be nice, I mean, really it would. I’ve been streaming quite a while and the goal looks closer and closer. The only thing that would be really cool is if I got one and got to reach more and more people. The more people see me the more people I can cheer up. The possibility of being discovered this way has crossed my mind as well.

Is there anything else you would like to say to your viewers?
Hey, sometimes you find a skill or art you never thought would impact your life. I started doing the puppets to cheer myself up mainly. The facts it ended up spilling over into other people’s lives makes it a blessing. You just never know what can happen.

Okay, Question one. Why did you create the show? And what has been your favorite interview that you have done?

So the reason that I created the show was I wanted to, number one, add content to my live streams. And I thought, What do I do? Or what do I feel that I'm good at? That would be a natural extension of what I already do. I featured people frequently in the box when I first started streaming. And I thought, what could I do? That would be the next step or the next stage of that. I also thought about what am I passionate about when it comes to meet me, and it's the interconnectivity portion. It's that it's a platform that people who otherwise would not have met are able to connect and meet each other. So I thought, what if we took streamers, featured them, and then people who wouldn't have seen them could. Maybe you like a certain social group of streamers, and because of that, you're able to talk and meet those people. But there's an entire nother portion of half full of content creators and individuals that you otherwise would not have met. And so I thought, okay, let's feature interview people. And not only that, when you stream, it's hard to hold a conversation, it's hard to get out a lot of details. And there's people who go to view streams. And they like the person that they're seeing, and they have a lot of questions. So they're curious about who that person is in their real life, or what or what their, what their streams are about, or what they're passionate about. And so I thought, okay, if we interview people, and we talk about them, we can really dig into what they're passionate about what their story is, and learn something about them. And from that you can you can develop a relationship. You can have more of a connection with someone.

So I just thought an interview style show would would really be the best way to encompass all of those things. What has been my favorite interview so far. I can say that, I don't know that I've had a favorite interview but, I can say that when I do enjoy an interview, it's the because it doesn't follow a typical script that I have. I like it. When I talk with someone that I'm surprised that they're able to talk really about themselves.

I love it. When, someone comes on, and they really lay it all out, They open their heart. They open themselves, and they express a side of them that is personal. What has made them and develop them into the person that they are today. My favorite, most memorable stream for the show was the big con announcement. So that was when Jim be he's the he's one of the C suite executives of MeetMe. He's the Boss. He's the bossman, Jim be the boss. He came on. And he announced that meeting, he was throwing a rooftop party for VidCon. And on that episode, we had Holly, we had Dar, and we had Turk. And that was really important beginning of my friendship with so that's special to me. So, um, yeah, that's, that's what I'd say for question more.
Yeah, I love for that one.

You're a judge on unstoppable idol. What are the ups and downs of being a judge?

Yeah being a judge, it's a bit of a roller coaster. In the sense of, you're developing a relationship with the competitors, but at the same time, it's got to be business, and you can't bring personal bias into it. I would say the ups are seeing someone grow, seeing them become more confident in themselves. I always point to Joker, as an example, this is he's someone who came in with very little confidence, he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do with this talent. He didn't know what his survivability wasn't the competition with his talent then by the end of the end of winning the whole thing. And that was that was really special to see some of the lows, cutting people.

There's a lot of times people who are who are very talented who make all the way the finals, and we're splitting hairs trying to figure out who's gonna win, why they hould they win, and it really sucks to have to sell your friends. These individuals that you've been working with. I'm sorry, you're not going forward, this person is me. And that's definitely the low point I would say.

What are some hobbies that you enjoy outside of live streaming and being on idol?

I'm a busy person, I keep very, very, very, very busy. I work full time. So I have a job that I have a career that keeps me more than 40 hours a week. Outside of that, I'm very much a family oriented person, I'm very much a friend oriented person. The whole reason one of the biggest parts of livestreaming that I enjoy is the personal connection and how you develop relationships with people. So I have a saying, I have a couple things, but one of my favorite sayings is that I have is that it's not about where it's at. It's who it's with. And I at all times of keeping a top of my mind. How can I be with the people that I care about? Because that's a life worth living? Life by itself is not. I could never travel by myself. And that's something that I know many people love to do is travel and see the world. And I couldn't do that by myself, because I wouldn't be experiencing it with someone. I like to share memories. I'm very sentimental. I like to you know, mull over and astrologer things like that.

I like to play strategy based games. So like Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone, simulation game, stuff like that. I'm not too big into first person shooters, but I do like horror video games, action video games, like Resident Evil, Dead Space, the Evil Within that kind of stuff. I really like that. What other hobbies do I have? Yeah, I like I like trading cards. I like trading cards and things like that. I like cinema movies, comedy. Really, if as long as I'm doing with somebody that I care about, the rest is frosting, you know, I could I could be sitting around a campfire, having a beer with someone I care about, or I could be out on a racetrack. You know, I don't know why it's a racetrack but it really be anything, just as long as it's with someone I care about.

Real quick before you jump the next one. There's two things that I like to live by.
Number one is it's not a it's not about where it's at. It's who it's with. Um, number two is I reserve the right to change my mind provided new information is given. And so, what does that all mean? I reserve the right to change my mind, provided new information is given. Its that it's always okay to change and habits and have a different change of heart.

It's okay to feel differently about so and then you used to, I think there's this misconception that you have to always be consistent about one particular view, or consistently feel one way about something that like, because you said this, now that you have to now you have to always stick to it. I think there's a difference between that. And in this things like honesty and loyalty they're factored in. But say for example, you you learn some thing new regarding a political view that you have, or maybe something about climate change, maybe one way or another and one way or another you feel a certain way.
And maybe prior you had felt one way stone.

But having the open mindedness at all times what it comes back to is reserving the right to change your mind provided new information is given means that you reserve the right to keep an open mind, you reserve the right to challenge your own perspective, and have a new perspective coming. Because I think when you stop learning and use, stop allowing yourself to have different insights and different perspectives, that's when you you're done growing. And I don't ever want to confine myself in my life to feel like I've stopped growing. So anyway, that's that's the last piece there. So okay, what's next?

Everyone would like to know what kind of work do you do for a living?

Yeah, I am a recruiter. So I used to do sales for sales for a company. Prior that I did sales, I started a small business when I was in college, started an LLC. But before that, I was serving steaks, hosting, bus pulling, all that kind of stuff. So I did this. I did the service industry for six years. And then, I moved into professional sales. And then, I moved to another company doing sales and that's promoted into recruitment. That yeah, that's, that's what I do for a living.

What types of benefits and what types of negative consequences has being a streamer had on me? Positive benefits?

There, they're limitless, it's the relationships that I've made, ranging from best friends and really good friends to someone that is my girlfriend, to now, you know, traveling the world to meet people. It's, it's a lot, there's the monetary aspect to it. But really, you took away the diamond was and all of that, the core reason of why I'm here still here. And it's that the opportunity to build relationships, make friends, learn about other people. I value relationships above everything. No amount of money, no, not amount of success, no not have anything, can trade for genuine relationships, genuine interest, genuine things where people care about you. I mean, I at all times that I would trade, I would trade anything financial, to make sure that I have the people that I care about closest to me, that they're in the bus, that they're safe, that they're with me that I can be with them those types of things.

What negative aspects has there been to MeetMe?

I sacrifice some of my time, especially in the beginning more than I should have, I think, I think I over I I prioritize, I prioritize doing meet me. And I said
no, to being out with some friends or I said no to doing certain events. I stayed at I locked myself in at the same time, I wouldn't trade that. I don't think that was a mistake. But I think there were some negative consequences where I could have been out connecting with the people that I value so much more, but the same time as building new relationships, and some of the more healthy relationships by streaming. Yeah, but the most positive thing would be like getting to me know, bro world, for example, it was very hard, getting to meet mark, he is getting to me hace getting to meet so many people that I would not have otherwise met. I mean, think if you really think about it, we're having virtual conversations with individuals cherry picked all around the country and world. How amazing is it, that all of us have the opportunity to meet one another, learn about each other, and then get to the point where we can travel to different parts of the country see each other and feel like it's not strangers? Like have these relationships already built? That's so wild. So wild?

And I I could not think of something better to come with it. So yeah, I would definitely say that, that that would be the most positive and, and as far as the negative consequences, I really, I really can't think of any negative consequences. And I think most of that would have to do with that I keep myself out of the drama. And I think that I do, I have a mature perspective of how people communicate on the platform. So I don't want to get too far into the weeds of that. But I think that's why I haven't had much of a negative experience using

Have you met anyone from the app? Have you traveled into the special events or MeetMe hosted events. And if so, what has been your favorite event?

Yes, I have met countless people from the half, I feel very fortunate for that. It's It's surreal when you when you see the individuals on a camera, versus when you actually are in person with them, it's very surreal. because on one hand, it feels very natural, like you've known this person for a very long time, and that you have all these things in common and you already know so much about the person. But on the opposite end, it's your first time physically being in the presence of this person. Um, something that's unique about livestreaming, especially with the top live streaming community is that these are individuals who are live on a very consistent, very frequent basis. So even if someone were trying to take themselves or as their live self, there's a lot of time for them to slip up, there's a lot of time for them to be outside of their element or be outside of what their character, air quotes what their character could be. And so because of that, I think that you end up getting a very real picture of what a person is like, you get a very real picture of of who they genuinely are. And so I I've had an excellent time meeting, meeting people from the app, top streamers and viewers and starting streamers alike, people who aren't even who weren't even on the app to begin with, but were friends of streamers. And then I got to meet them. It's just it's networking is making new friends. It's It's everything to love. Um, I have been to a few of the events, I was at playlist 2019 and I was at VidCon 2019. I will be at playlist 2020 I will be at VidCon 2020. I've already got in mark on my calendars do both. playlist was by far my favorite. It was my first time being launched into meeting the live streamers and the livestream community. But not only that, it was a growing experience. It showed me what the larger stage was like, for for streamers or for content creators. There was there was just a lot. There was a lot there. playlist was my favorite.

What is the future for Chris Casper? And where would you like to take the show?

Okay, yeah. So as far as the show goes, I would like to add more content to it. I would like to make it more viewer interactive is right now at the moment. It's as if I'm doing the interview. And the live is doing its own thing. And so I'd like to have a way to unite that make it so that the live could be more engaged in not so separate from the interview part of it. I would like to introduce games do things like that. As far as the future for me, I hope to continue growing as a streamer. I like to challenge myself. As far as the the things that I do in the things in the way that I I conduct my livestream. But I also want to keep making new friends. I would like to keep developing relationships and see see where everyone else grows and how they grow. Well, yeah, thanks. Thanks for having me, man. Proceed. Alright, everyone. Much love to all. I'll see you said Okay. Thank you.

Who are you and why did you start People of Meet Me instagram?

My reala name is actually Eric. I began People of Meet Me to kind of have a place where I could give shout outs to some of my favorite people in Hope's of new people discovering them as well.

People go to your instgram to check out top badges and upcoming and already established streamers to find someone new to watch. Did you ever think that your Instagram would blow up like it did, and what is your explination for that?

Definitely did not expect it to blow up at all. As most people know I'm now on my 4th account. But that first one I had. Wow. I was gaining new followers every single day. I still do, but not as rapid as the first time. I guess since my page focuses more on the positive side of things is why people flocked to me. Because there are numerous other accounts out there that focus on the drama or "tea". So maybe my version was just a breath of fresh air for everyone.

Would you like to expand People of Meet Me Instagram? If so how would you like to expanding?

To be honest I haven't given in much thought. Closest thing I have considered was maybe a People of Meet Me website and maybe even a YouTube channel. But at the moment I've pushed those ideas to the side for now.

What do you like to do outside of Meet Me for fun? What are your hobbies?

Well, I love to write. I'm actually a published author on Amazon. That's really the only hobby I really have. I just love the worlds I create and I get lost in those places, as well as the characters I create. It's a hobby but at times it is also an escape from reality.

Where do you see yourself and this project that you are working on in 10 years?

Well, let's talk about my project first off. For those that don't already know, once I start going live again I plan on making my live a safe haven for others with Mental Illness. A place they can come and don't have to worry about being judged based on the stigmas attached, a place where they can tell their stories of their battles with mental illness, a place where hopefully we can educate more people on it. Because unfortunately it's just not discussed a lot because people are afraid to be judged or ridiculed or whatever. Another part of my plan is to take every single diamond I ever get and donate the cash out to various Mental Health charities.

Here is where I put you on the spot, who is your favorite streamer, and why? Who is your second favorite streamer and why?

Thanks for putting me on the spot because this is gonna require a bit of thought. I guess my favorite streamer is gonna have to be Deadpool. I've known the guy for a year. And not only is he an amazing and entertaining streamer but he is also one heck of a friend. Seriously, if you really need someone and he's available... such an awesome guy!! Let's see. 2nd. That's gonna be slightly harder for me. I would honestly have to say it is a tie. On one side you have Danie. The man is jsut amazing, funny and never asks for anything. He is one of the types of people the app should want to be a Top Badge. There really are not enough words to show my appreciation for Danie. Like I said, it's a tie. So 2b. would have to be The Duchess. For those that don't know her, you're missing out. This woman is such an amazing person. She has one of the purest hearts of anyone I know. She is there for anyone she cares about. She never asks for a single diamond and has never cashed out. Whatever she gets, she converts and regift. From the people who gift her to some newbie who maybe doesn't have anything yet. Like I said she's just amazing.

Is there any tips you would like to giv new and upcoming streamers who might be struggling to stream?

First off, be consistent. Right now with my life as it is I'm not able to go live so my consistency has fallen. Get out there to other lives and meet people. That's one way to not only meet new people but also get some faves as well. Um, try to never ask for anything. People will gift more people who are not out there begging. Also, always be gracious for everything you get. Whether it be a fave, the hearts or even a EBT gift. Always say thank you. And lastly, find your niche. If you can sing, sing. If you can paint or draw, do that. If you're a writer like me, showcase that. We all have some kind of talent. Showcase that.

Is there anything else you would like to say to everyone before we end this interview?

My final words. Always...always stay humble and kind. Be nice to each other and let's all help each other out. That's what it's all about. And Jay, thank you for this interview. I truly appreciate it.

How DID you get the name Master Reaper and when did you start streaming?

The name master Reaper is the name that I have a persona with. I feel somewhat of a connection with Reaper. I started streaming three months ago.

Has your streaming experience been difficult? What did you expect when you first started?

When I first started, I just thought I'd just get on here and just have a little bit of fun talk to people. Which I still am doing that, but a lot of people support me and came along the way are my friends, I got good friends. I got people that are like family and people that I care about. There's a rare few that I would actually do anything for, and they made me the streamer I am today and I owe all my my accomplishment to my gifts and my friends and family.

How did you feel when you reached your million diamonds and who got you over the top?

How did that feel? It was amazing. Because 1 million is actually a lot of mishap you may see people with like 20 million 5,000,010 million, but it takes a while to get to a million. You know, especially over time, especially when you don't ask for diamonds. You just sit here and you have fun. It takes a lot longer, but the experience and the journey has been wonderful. And that's 100% like I don't want I don't need diamonds I don't want diamonds. Yes, it's good that they're there and people support me with them. And that's a big accomplishment for myself and the viewers. And whoever put me over the top is Miss Jess she's the one who gave me to my million mark.

What are your hobbies besides streaming?

Oh, I'm an artist, 100%. I draw. I do shit. I can draw anything you want me to draw? I pretty much love the city down during the day and just draw anything that comes in my head.

You do story times in your live, what are your story times like?

Stories are from my imagination. When I talk, I do scary stories, suspenseful stories, thrillers, I just take them in my head and I go along with a ball. I've always liked writing and one day I want to write a book.

Thank you for taking the time to interview anything ele you would like to tell the viewers?

Tell our viewers Yeah, actually. Be yourself. Be kind and always show respect to those that made you who you are. Because the ones that support you are the ones who make you who you are again, I double say that shit. I mean, actually, I mean that's all I can say is just be who you are. Take kindness and do not take people for granted.
