We have known each other for quite some time now, can you tell me your ups and downs as a streamer, and why?
I’ve been streaming for a bit. I noticed that as long as you are engaged with your viewers, you will have a good stream. The downfalls are when you do the same routine over and over again. They don’t want to see that. Your viewers want to see different themes (for example taking them to the gym or pool). I love my audience, and I’ve made really good friends on and off the app.
You have always been a kind generous person visiting as many people’s streams as you can. What prompted you to start streaming yourself?
Everyone had asked me to go live. I got a good number of people who wanted to see me go live, and that encouraged me to start doing it. I try to make my lives fun and enjoyable.
You recently got your VIP badge, can you let people know what your VIP badge means?
VIP is the big BOSS on the app (haha just kidding)! But they are definitely the big gifters on the app. Meetme recognizes VIP’s since they help the app so much.
Do you have any tips for upcoming streamers?
What purpose do you have to stream?
For fun. I don’t do it for diamonds. I just like to have a good time with my audience.
How was the experience meeting people off the app?
So much fun. I’ve met a lot of people off the app. When I went to Playlist in Orlando, everyone seemed nice. It was an enjoyable experience.
Are you ever going to get your Top Badge? Would you get a Top Badge or keep your VIP Badge?
I don’t take streaming as a full time job. I just do it for fun and would rather keep my VIP badge. I am a busy person and don’t have time to do that.
Your Emoji is a boat. Can you tell us why your Emoji is a boat?
Well, I own a boat! I love being outdoors, especially on the water. You can catch me taking my boat out at least twice a week. Hence, why I made my emoji a boat!

You are a recent new top badge. What kind of benefits does a top badge give you, and how has it helped your popularity on MeetMe?
It has been an honor to earn my top badge on the best social networking app available. Before I answer your question, I would like to thank everyone who put in the work to create, maintain, develop, and update such a magnificent app that all walks of life can use to conjoin with one another. Also, a big thank you to Jay for hosting this interview and giving me the wonderful opportunity to connect with you all.
Ever since I obtained my top badge in May 2019, I’ve been able to experience the benefits of being a top steamer on the MeetMe app. First, and most importantly, I am now able to reach a wider audience. Acquiring a larger audience gives me the ability to meet new people and increase my viewership while streaming. Another benefit of having a top badge is that it allows me the capacity to give back to others on the app, which in turn brings me happiness. I give back to others in a multitudinous amount of ways, however, I primarily give advice or gift. The satisfaction of giving advice and sharing streaming techniques with someone wanting to become a top badge is rewarding. I am currently working with one person in particular who would like to be a top badge. Now that I have my badge, it’s fun to sit back and play more of a coaching role and be a part of someone else's success while they work to earn their badge. Secondly, gifting others is a major benefit for me. I love watching the reactions of streamers while I gift them. It brings me joy how I can bring pleasure to a streamer through gifts. Since I am one of the few top badges that have never cashed out and do not intend to, I always am able to spread a little more love, especially to those just starting out.
Have you met a lot of people off of MeetMe, if so how did that turn out for you?
Yes, I have met many people in person from MeetMe. After all, meeting people is the overall purpose of the app. I have met around 20 people in person since downloading this app in May 2018. I have invited them into my home and have traveled to theirs. I reside in Pennsylvania and the furthest person I have met so far is from Minnesota, and the closest person living 5 minutes away from me. I am social and love meeting people. I already have plans to continue meeting more people from the app. Additionally, I am planning a trip to Playlist 2020 in March where I’ll have the opportunity to expand my social network in Orlando, Florida. All the meetups I’ve had have been great. I feel more of a personal connection every time I watch a stream of a person I have physically met. I encourage people to get out and meet up with others on MeetMe. However, be safe and get to really know someone before meeting them. Take the necessary precautions to ensure your safety when meeting people, especially for the first time. I’ve never had a negative encounter when meeting anyone from MeetMe. The first time meeting someone can be nerve-racking, but you cannot allow that to subdue you from missing out on meeting great people.
How has streaming improved your life, and how has streaming brought you down?
Streaming has improved my life by giving me a platform to communicate with others and talk about anything whether it be personal or non personal, positive or negative. The conversations held in my livestream are unlimited to where my viewers and I can share a discussion on what we feel like talking about at that time. In my livestream, we talk about everything from A to Z. I remember I was up one night until about 4 in the morning chatting to some viewers about space travel and futuristic plans to populate another planet. I talk about situations that are happening in my life, and I freely give up my platform to allow others to speak or address circumstances going on in their life. Being able to share my life with others has provided me the comfort of knowing I always have a second family available on MeetMe. Streaming has also improved my life by allowing me to take knowledgeable advice from viewers who may know more about a particular topic than I do, thus benefiting me. Not too many things bring me down in life. Streaming has never brought me down. To me, streaming is a positive outlet that provides social health benefits. Although, I will say it is discouraging to have come across some dreadful people on MeetMe who use the app solely to bring other people down.
You are always nice to people, and you seem to care about people.
Thank you for the compliment. It’s greatly appreciated. I have to give credit to my parents for being great teachers of life. My parents, who are much better people than I am, have always taken care of family, friends, and strangers. I learned from watching them and how they cared for others. In college, I joined a fraternity and our golden rule was “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I try to live by that quote as much as I can.
What drives you to be the better person that you are to help people when they need it?
Do you have any tips or suggestions for upcoming streamers, if so what would they be?
The first concept every upcoming streamer who has a goal of earning a top badge needs to understand is that the real value of the MeetMe app is the people. Yes, before applying for a badge, you need to obtain a certain amount of diamonds, favorites, and views. However, to get those ever so wanted diamonds, favorites, and views you must make valuable connections with people. I would say 70% to 90% of your overall diamond count comes from people that you know. It’s more of a rarity that someone who doesn’t know you will join your livestream and just start sending you gifts, although it does happen from time to time. I would advise new upcoming streamers to focus on creating a following of regular viewers rather than pursue a diamond chase. Accept the fact that creating a following for yourself takes more time and effort, but it pays off in the long run. Additionally, I think MeetMe prefers to give badges to people who have somewhat of an actually following rather than someone with an excessive amount of diamonds. This is why sometimes you will see streamers with more than 10 million diamonds, but yet still no badge.
Here are some fast tips to creating a following for yourself as the streamer. Say hi to everyone who enters your live. Truth is most people are scared to start a conversation, even if it’s just online. Some people just don’t know what to say which leads them to say nothing and leaving your stream. Make sure to make everyone feel welcomed. Let your viewers know you are going live by sending a notification out to your fans. Here is where most new streamers make a big mistake; they will stream for a day then take a week off and their fans become uninterested in them. It’s very important to stream consistently. This is also known as the “grind." If you have goals of being a top badge, you must be streaming on a consistent basis. Try to develop some sort of streaming schedule and add it to your bio. Stick to your streaming schedule. An example of a good streaming schedule would be livestreaming Monday through Friday at 5 pm. Do whatever fits your schedule, but make sure you are streaming at least 3 times a week for at least one hour per stream. If you ever need any tips on streaming just stop by my live or send me a message. I’ll be happy to help. Thank you for taking the time to read my interview.

What kind of talent that you have inspires you to stream, and what platform do you stream on?
I am a singer/songwriter and entertainer! I've been streaming exclusively on Facebook so far but I am going to also try Instagram in the future.
I have a cover band that plays an average of 120 shows a year, anything from clubs and bars to private and corporate events. We have a variety of dance music spanning various eras and genres so most people in the crowd will find something they will enjoy. I have also released a 12 track original album in October of 2018 and have played some exclusively original shows since then, like Art Around Adams and my Album Release Show at Navajo Live.
What kind of music influences helped you create the talent that you have today?
I grew up on Mariah Carey. She was my hero all through the 90s and early 2000s. I'm a fan of the divas like Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson...if you can hit a high, powerful note, you have my attention. Their songs inspired me to sing along with them and to write that type of music for myself.
What kind of instruments do you play, and how long did it take you to learn them?
I play the tambourine, pretty easy to learn! Hehe, just kidding. I never learned to play an instrument. I tried really, but it isn't something that comes easy for me so every attempt at it failed. When I was a kid I wanted to join the marching band and play the clarinet. I never even got to hold one, couldn't make it past music theory. Then I tried to get one of those light up keyboards and follow along, but my hands were too small to reach some of the keys. When I joined a rock band a few years ago, my band mates tried to get me to play guitar. I learned three simple chords and could play along to three songs until I got bored of those songs and ditched the guitar too. Singing is where my passion lies, and I couldn't be as good of a singer if I had to concentrate on playing an instrument too. I did get myself a keyboard when I put together my home studio though, and have used it to figure out some melody parts for my songs before I send them to actual musicians to work on, or after to fill in some blanks. I surprised myself when I managed to build my entire song "Star Struck", which became the title track to my album, on a couple Garageband drum loops on my keyboard. I have yet to duplicate that.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I wish we could go back to the days when talent mattered more than how many followers you can amass. I'm inspired by Mariah Carey's story, where she had a chance to get a demo into Tommy Mottola's hands and the rest is history. If that happened nowadays, they would see that nobody knows who she is and just pass, and we would have missed out on the (in my opinion) greatest singer of all time. I wonder how many amazingly talented vocalists we will never get to hear because it's all about what kind of built-in audience you have nowadays?
If you ever get a chance to meet another musician, who would it be and why?
As much as I love Mariah, I would love to meet Kelly Clarkson. Besides being another great musical inspiration for me, she seems to be very down to earth and I think we could be best friends. My ultimate dream would be to do a duet with her. I think our voices would compliment each other very well.

How did you get into streaming, and did you ever think that you would be a top badge, and how hard was it to accomplish becoming a top badge?
I got into streaming around the age of 19. I was rather popular on the website stickam. It’s no longer around these days. I found meetme in September and fell in love. When I found out what the badge was, I knew I wanted one. I didn’t think I would actually get one. It was rather frustrating at first, because It took 8 weeks after hitting my million before I got it. I almost quit trying, but I had to remind myself that it was something that I wanted and to stay determined.
You were on Unstoppable Idol, how was your experience on the show, and what did you learn from it?
I competed in three season of the unstoppable idol. My experience was very rewarding to me. I learned a lot about myself during that time.
I learned to be more humble with myself and kept striving to be a better performer and a better person. I learned to take criticism and accept guidance. Sometimes you just have to listen in order to grow as an artist and human.
How has streaming changed your life, and what kind of tips do you have for upcoming streamers that are striving to get their top badge or popularity?
Streaming has most defiantly changed my life for the better. I have found a tight-knit unit of a family. I have found some of the best friends of my entire life.
It’s improved my communication skills, coping with anxiety, and just brought joy to my life. I love connecting with people. If I could give any new streamers advice it would to stick with it. Consistency is key and to keep your head up. It can be discouraging at first with slow views for hours, but we all start somewhere.
What kind of talents do you have other than streaming? What do you like to do in your spare time when you are not live?
I am an artist. I love to draw and paint. I skateboard, Surf, Ride Motocross, Nature walks, float the river. I love being outside. I also am obsessed with my bullet journal. I handmade my own planner. :P Gotta have a way to stay in charge when you don’t have a traditional brain. HAHA

Thank you for filling out the questions Shae, it is highly appreciated and hopefully, it will get you more exposure for your stream.
You are head of one of the biggest groups on meetme called the risen. What is the purpose of the group and why did you create the group? Also, I have never seen anyone complain about your group and it is one of the biggest on meetme. :)
Hi. The Risen was made because, when you fall down you will have to get back up and rise up to do better than you did before. This group was created because I love what I do, and I help people have a better day and get them through the tough times when they are weak.
What prompted you to start streaming? Some people use it to find love, or make new friends, or try to get diamonds for cash. What was your purpose?
My best friend Adam bright me to this app after we were doing live feeds on FB. It's been interesting. I've used it to make friends and family. My purpose was to take a stand and change lives for the better. You are a nice person and you go out of your way to help people, do you mind telling us if you had a situation where it bothered you on meetme; and what was the most disappointing time you had on meetme as of now? If it is too personal I understand that you can not answer it. I've been through hell and back on here. It's not been easy at times. I've been bullied. I've been hurt and betrayed and talked about. Nothing is done by meet me to stop the bullying. Block button doesn't always work. Another account is made. Same over again. I'm a strong-willed individual and I've learned to handle it as it comes.
What drives you to continue to stream? I know people have to stream a lot and consistent to get the views.
I stream because I love to see my Risen family and they love me for who I am and what I stand for. I do everything right by abiding on the rules of this app. You have to be consistent and be BRAVE and fight the good fight.
You'll win and make it in the end. Let's DO THIS.
I LOVE STREAMING
What do you do in your spare time outside of meetme?
I watch TV our get stuff done while I'm live. I'm an outdoorsy person.
How long have you been on meetme? Is there anything that you can suggest they might want to change on the app? ( we are not affiliated with meetme so possible that they might not see these questions at all.
I've been in meet me for a year. There's a lot of people who still don't have their badge. If you've got your million. You should have your badge. Not work hard to get that Milly and NOT GET YOUR BADGE.
Any tips for new streamers on this app and any streaming app in general?
Stay within your means. If you feel uncomfortable. Block and move on. I love streaming and I love these apps. They've made me a better PERSON. -when you fall. You'll always rise to get back up.-Shaeanator...I struggle with Endometriosis and Chronic Sciatic pain
