Who are you, and what makes you the person you are today?
I’m Austin founder of Grandis Media. I had a poor upbringing and struggled with depression in my youth. I’m a youtuber that creates content on entrepreneurship and self empowerment.
How long have you been streaming for, and why did you start streaming, what was your purpose?
I originally started live streaming on Facebook live when I was 15. I’m 22. I started live streaming because I wanted to help inspire people with depression and hard upbringings to achieve greatness. I’ve streamed on just about every popular platform. MeetMe, LiveMe, YouNow, etc.
How did you come up with your name, what is the story behind it?
Grandis Media is the second business I own under the embrella Grandis. Grandis is Latin for greatness and greatest . I aim to help everyone achieve a status of Greatness.
What are you themes of your streams, how do you attract people to it?
I don’t necessarily have a theme, I don’t believe in living a internet facade. That’s why I’m always like hey I’m Austin! I’m just my self. But my content is generally all about adding value to the life of the viewer. Teaching people how to be their lives from being better streamers, start their owner businesses to building confidence and loving them selves.
You have your own company, can you explain to us what it is about and where we can find you?
I own two businesses. Grandis Media, which is my content creation company. I think I’ve already answered what kind of content I make. I also own a electronics company where I buy sell and trade electronics through Facebook marketplace. I actually have YouTube videos on my channel showing others how to do it to. I will not disclose the name of my psychical business though due to privacy and safety concerns.
What are some of your goals in life?
My biggest goals are to build a billion dollar franchise before I die. I want to gain a massive amount of wealth so I can use so said wealth to make positive changes in the world. I’ve always wanted to change the world and make it a better place. My main focuses in this regard are the homeless. I really want to start a homeless re ability center that focuses on getting homeless people back on their feet by providing housing, jobs, and clothes for work. I also want to help provide opportunities to the children of low income families so they don’t have to have the lousy life I did.
What are your hobbies?
I don’t have time for hobbies. My life purpose is too important. I’ve always believed in turning ones passions into their career. I work roughly 80 hours a week between my two start ups and don’t have much time for anything outside of work. I guess you could say I really enjoy my work and get high off of success and ambition like some people get high off drugs. I wouldn’t really say I’m ambitious though, nor would I recommend anyone be. Ambition is something you feel when you’re feeling good and happy. Motivation is a fleeting thing isn’t it? I believe in being driven. What that means to me is pushing on and working hard even when you have to eat shit and you don’t enjoy it.
Do you have any tips that you might give to new streamers, who might be trying to aim towards getting their top badge or struggling with their goals?
My biggest word of advice to anyone streaming on any app would be to never limit your self or create a false facade of being loyal to any streaming app. Always put your self and your content first. Don’t limit your audience by viewing social media so narrowly. Create content on as many platforms as possible and do everything you can to elevate your brand and get your name out there. If your only focus as a social media influencer is only one streaming app you’re going to fail. You need to create content in as many ways as possible. Start out with a instagram you push all your viewers to follow you on.
Also always ask yourself what value your content brings your viewers. Remember whoever brings the most value wins. Stop trying to make money and start trying to add value and you’ll make more money than ever before. The faster you come to understand this the faster your life will change. I don’t have much to say about ones top badge. It just doesn’t seem like a very important goal to me. Just a status symbol someone who created a app created. I have very limited interest on status symbols.
